Very excited to say that next saturday I will be playing with Celtarabia one of the best world music party dance bands around tickets are only £10 on the door a real steal – advanced tickets are available here for £10 plus booking fee http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/celtarabia-yuletide-party-at-… The last time we played at Kardomah it was a sell out show …
Legendary Hull fusion band – Celtarabia – are set to start the Yuletide celebrations at Kardomah94 on Saturday 5th December 2015.
Playing a special set of funked up medieval Christmas tunes, with a filmic back drop of vintage gothic fairytales and mince pies at half time the party is all set to go!
Featuring some of this country’s finest world dance musicians Celtarabia play the wildest cross-over music being made in England today. Quentin Budworth’s Hurdy Gurdy playing is the magic behind Celtarabia’s unique sound, together with an incredible band of players including virtuoso hammer dulcimer player Amanda Lowe, ace drummer Alan Raw, and ex Red Guitars dub & slide bassist Lou Duffy-Howard.
The band are consummate musicians, showmen & women whose wild fusion of Arabic, Andalucian, Celtic, Medieval music and contemporary beats is designed to get bodies dancing. Bring your dancing shoes and expect to dance!
With support from the fabulous John Cox and Dave Hughes
